Exactly how it works is not known. It may block certain substances in the body that are linked to inflammation. NSAIDs treat the symptoms of pain and inflammation. They do not treat the disease that causes those symptoms.

Diclofenaco Mintlab may cause dizziness or drowsiness. These effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Diclofenaco Mintlab with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.
Serious stomach ulcers or bleeding can occur with the use of Diclofenaco Mintlab. Taking it in high doses or for a long time, smoking, or drinking alcohol increases the risk of these side effects. Contact your doctor or emergency room at once if you develop severe stomach or back pain; black, tarry stools; vomit that looks like blood or coffee grounds; or unusual weight gain or swelling.

A very bad skin reaction (Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis) may happen. It can cause very bad health problems that may not go away and sometimes death. Get medical help right away if you have signs like red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin (with or without fever); red or irritated eyes; or sores in your mouth, throat, nose, or eyes.
Diclofenaco Mintlab is an NSAID. Before you start any new medicine, check the label to see if it has an NSAID (eg, ibuprofen) in it too. If it does or if you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not take aspirin while you are taking Diclofenaco Mintlab unless your doctor tells you to.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before you take acetaminophen while you are taking Diclofenaco Mintlab. The risk of liver problems may be increased.
Do not switch between different forms of Diclofenaco Mintlab (eg, enteric-coated tablets, immediate-release tablets, capsules) unless your doctor tells you to. They may not provide the same amount of medicine to your body.
Some brands of Diclofenaco Mintlab contain gelatin and should not be taken by patients who are allergic to bovine (cow) proteins. If you are allergic to these proteins, ask your doctor or pharmacist if they are in your product.
Lab tests, including kidney and liver function, blood electrolyte levels, complete blood cell counts, and blood pressure, may be performed while you use Diclofenaco Mintlab. These tests may be used to monitor your condition or check for side effects. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.
Use Diclofenaco Mintlab with caution in the ELDERLY; they may be more sensitive to its effects, especially stomach bleeding and kidney problems.
Diclofenaco Mintlab should be used with extreme caution in CHILDREN; safety and effectiveness in children have not been confirmed.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: Diclofenaco Mintlab may cause harm to the fetus. Do not take it during the last 3 months of pregnancy. If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of taking Diclofenaco Mintlab while you are pregnant. It is not known if Diclofenaco Mintlab is found in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking Diclofenaco Mintlab.

Take Diclofenaco Mintlab with a full glass of water (8 oz [240 mL]) as directed by your doctor.
