Epispas is an antispasmodic, prescribed for gastrointestinal tract spasm. It blocks the activity of acetylcholine on muscarinic receptors.Epispas contraindication
Contraindicated in patients with intestinal obstruction, myasthenia gravis, glaucoma, and infants less than 6 months old.Epispas dosage
Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 10-20 mg 3 times/day.IM- 20 mg 4 times/day for 1-2 days.

It comes as a tablet, capsule, and suspension to take by mouth, with or without food.Epispas precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver or kidney disease, urinary retention, paralytic ileus, thyroid deficiency, heart failure, abnormal heart rhythm, who are taking other medications, children, elderly, and during pregnancy.Epispas side effects
