It works by forming a protective layer on the ulcer to serve as a barrier against acid, bile salts, and enzymes in the stomach.
Important safety information:
Carafate 1 GM Oral Tablet may cause dizziness. This effect may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Take Carafate 1 GM Oral Tablet with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.
