Acetaminophen dosage
The oral dose for adults is 325 to 650 mg every 4 to 6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 4 grams. Child- the recommended dose is 10 to 15 mg/kg every 4 to 6 hours.
Acetaminophen usage
It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth, with or without food.
Acetaminophen precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of alcohol dependency, kidney or liver impairment, G6PD deficiency, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause liver damage; avoid long-term use of Acetaminophen.
Acetaminophen side effects
Nausea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, upper stomach pain, dark urine, clay colored stool, allergic reactions, skin rash and kidney impairment.
Acetaminophen warning
Avoid excess dosage. Do not crush or chew extended-release tablets, because it can release the entire drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects. Also, do not split the tablets unless they have a score line. Swallow the whole or split tablet without crushing or chewing.
Acetaminophen storage conditions
Store tablets and solution at room temperature 15°- 30°C. Keep Acetaminophen out of the reach of children.

What is Caffeine
Both Caffeine (caffeine citrate) Injection for intravenous administration and Caffeine (caffeine citrate) Oral Solution are clear, colorless, sterile, non-pyrogenic, preservative-free, aqueous solutions adjusted to pH 4.7. Each mL contains 20 mg Caffeine citrate (equivalent to 10 mg of Caffeine base) prepared in solution by the addition of 10 mg Caffeine anhydrous to 5.0 mg citric acid monohydrate, 8.3 mg sodium citrate dihydrate and Water for Injection. Caffeine (caffeine citrate) is indicated for the short term treatment of apnea of prematurity in infants between 28 and <33 weeks gestational age.
